Absolutely! While the sago desserts are super popular, don't miss out on their traditional hot desserts like the Sesame Paste, Walnut Paste, or the Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts. They're incredibly comforting and delicious, especially on a cooler evening!

We came here in April 2022. The queue was super long. We had time so we decided to queue and waited for more than 30 minutes. The desserts were good.

The queue was too long so we ordered to go. Pretty bad experience. 1. The man at the cashier was not patience, pretty blunt borderline rude 2. Very disappointed at the quality of the desserts, I ordered mango sago, they only gave u a few pieces of mangoes and it was chunky, very little sago and a lot of ice. Tasted very artificial. 3. The steam mil... see more

Very Chinese nice delicious sweet. And not very expensive as I see that the sweets are served with a ceramic container. Very simple but easy to eat. Good Chinese atmosphere to stay. But not really recommended to stay for a long time. It is good for the small group of people (2-4).

Everything was alright, but nothing really stood out. It’s fine if you are in the mood for something warm and sweet and there’s no queue. But in my opinion, it may not be wo... see more

Happened to crave a dessert while passing by and noticed many new shops around, but I still chose this long-established one. There was a queue of about 6–7 tables, the staff handed us the menu and order slip in advance, so we could note down our choices before paying at the cashier once a table was ready. I ordered a bowl of hot almond paste with ... see more

It’s been ages since I last savored Ah Chew’s desserts, and I’m glad to find that they’re still as good as ever—especially the sesame paste and yam paste with gingko. Prices have gone up over the years, which is understandable, but the quality and taste remain consistent. I also noticed they’ve expanded their menu to cater to younger crowds, which ... see more
