Their sides are pretty good - definitely recommend their sashimi, which has a unique chinese-japanese fusion twist to it, and their handmade fried wantons, which have a generous filling within. Unfortunately, quite disappointed by their porridge though - it is really bland unless you order sides to pair with it or you have to self-seasoned it with ... see more

On first taste of the porridge, I thought the soya sauce added was too much and otherwise, yhe porridge was bland. Then I added some of the condiments and it tasted much better. The stirred fried vegetables were excellent. Sashimi was good when we added the condiments. Just a tad expensive for the few very thin slices.

Getting more and more expensive for a neighbourhood porridge stall. Porridge texture is fine but absolutely tasteless. $15 for braised intestines are way overpriced.

Longing for simple, heart warming and comfort food? This is the place to go esp for porridge 🥣 lover. Great variety of porridge options (fish, pork, internal organs, century eggs, etc)- silky smooth porridge texture- with generous amount of ingredients. We ordered their liver porridge (not overcooked- no gamey taste) and century egg porridge with ... see more

The outlet i went to is situated at Tiong Bahru estate. Hard to find parking though...but so worth it if u do. The only complaint i hv is tat the youtiao is not fresh but refried or toasted... see more

Nestled in the heart of a charming historical pre-war building in Tiong Bahru, Ah Chiang's Porridge. Their silky-smooth fish porridge makes for a comforting and light meal—perfect for any time of day. I also enjoyed the bittergourd dish, which added a tasty contrast to the meal ;) PS: My friend ate up the salmon raw fish dish before I could take a... see more

Second time visiting after many years. Standard still there. Porridge is the slightly wet version. Ginger chicken is tender, raw fish is fresh. Service is fast. Limited table seats. Can be a little hot but there are sufficient fans.
