Looks 10/10. Taste 0/10. An absolute scam. Paid almost $14 per slice for cakes that looked incredible but had a rough, solid texture and tasted like nothing. The Earl Grey cake had no Earl Grey taste whatsoever. A cheap cake from Four Leaves is genuinely better. The osmanthus oolong cake was lovely, delectable and well liked by young and old. We are back for new orders and will be back for future orders.

stumbled upon this cute cake shop called cake bar at HV, tried their Rosemary Yuzu Shortcake & Earl Grey Sea Salt Hazelnut🎂 Aesthetics were lovely, but flavour-wise fell short, it was pretty much basic sponge with buttercream🙂 At $14/cake, I was hoping for something more elevated.. YAS OKK🍳🍳🍳 NAH

Bought an osmanthus oolong to try but was left severely disappointed. The entire cake had barely any oolong or osmanthus flavour, with hints of longan while the cream cheese or Panna Cotta overpowering everything with its extreme sweetness. Very pricey too, expected better quality for $14. Service was top notch though

Services pretty good and kind. Cake’s flavorful and nice, but madeleines are frozen so couldn’t eat right away and no seat to have dessert. Suitable for take away.

It’s always a pleasant experience whenever I patronize Cakebar for their cakes. The flavours are creative, it’s not overly sweet, and wonderfully light on the palate. Cakes are frozen and need to be thawed for about 2-3 hours before consumption, so plan that into when you are going to be having the cake. Can pre-order items or walk in is also fine as they do have cakes in stock. Staff are friendly and helpful with instructions. Worth trying if you’re in the area.
