Question:
Answer:
I'm all about those little extras! Does Cumi Bali offer any special drinks or desserts I shouldn't miss??
Absolutely! They have a selection of refreshing Indonesian-inspired drinks, like the Es Cendol (a sweet coconut milk drink with green jelly noodles) or the Es Teller (mixed fruit dessert with coconut milk). And for dessert, definitely try the Pisang Goreng (fried banana) – a classic Indonesian treat that's the perfect sweet ending to your meal!

Question:
Answer:
I'm thinking of heading over after work. What's the vibe like in the evening??
The evening vibe is quite relaxed and cozy! It's a great spot for a chill dinner with friends or a loved one. The lighting is dimmed, creating a more intimate atmosphere compared to the bustling lunchtime scene. Perfect for unwinding after a long day!

Question:
Answer:
Does Cumi Bali get super packed during lunchtime? Should I make a reservation??
It can get quite popular during lunch, especially on weekdays, as the surrounding offices fill with hungry patrons! I'd highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you're going with a group, to secure your spot and avoid any hangry moments.

Question:
Answer:
I'm craving some authentic Balinese flavors! What are some must-try dishes at Cumi Bali??
Oh, you're in for a treat! Definitely dive into the signature Cumi Bali (squid in a rich, spicy sauce – hence the name!), the Ayam Betutu (slow-cooked chicken with aromatic spices), and the Sate Lilit (minced seafood satay). Your taste buds will thank you!

Food is good, albeit it's on the pricier side. Please note that the sambal must be paid for though it's really yummy. Food is great, portion great for six people. Service crew Ali is friendly, attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend this place and come back again!

Good and fun Indonesian restaurant in a cool area. Easy walk from either Maxwell or Tanjong Pagar MRT stations... Food is genuinely good, and it's very evident that they use very little oil in the cooking. The food is much lighter than normal and you can easily notice the lack of grease. We really enjoyed the satay and grilled satay. Cool lunch spo... see more

Don’t understand how they get Michelin Bib gourmand recommendation so many years in a row. Food is below average in our opinion. The highly recommended grilled squid looks so different from the picture on the menu. It lacks the char grilled taste and we couldn’t figured out what is the sauce that was slapped on top. The kang kong is also meh and l... see more

Sadly, not as I remembered it. The grilled squid was rubbery but the worst was the assam pedas fish. The fish was not fresh at all and the ladies fingers and tomatoes were raw. And the bill was so high- more than a hundred dollars for both of us. Whilst the waiter was pleasant , he came in fresh from a smoke and it was hard. And the door opened to ... see more

Excellent food tho a bit pricy. Tab for 2 pax with tax and service charge was $105. All dishes ordered were on point. Ingredients were fresh and good quality. Dishes ordered: Ayam Rendang: not too spicy. Interesting variation from the rendang (beef) we are used to. The rendang sauce was quite heavenly and perfect pairing with white rice. Tried this place today and was really impressed! All the food was delicious — full of flavor and surprisingly healthy. The lady boss mentioned that they cook everything without oil, which is unbelievable considering how tasty it was. You can really tell they put care into making the meals wholesome without compromising on taste. The service was al... see more
