Question:
Answer:
I am planning to bring my elderly parents to Hassbawa. Is the seating easily accessible for them??
Marine Parade Central hawker center generally has standard hawker-style seating. While it is public space and can get crowded, you may be able to find a table near the entrance or along the perimeter for easier access. Consider visiting during off-peak hours for a less crowded experience!

Question:
Answer:
I'm craving some delicious food at Hassbawa! Are there any must-try dishes or specialties that everyone raves about??
Definitely! While I don't have specific dish recommendations for Hassbawa, hawker centers in Singapore are famous for dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice, Char Kway Teow, and Laksa. Check out what the stalls offer and follow your nose – you're bound to find something amazing!

Question:
Answer:
I'm thinking of heading over to Hassbawa. Is there easy parking nearby, or should I consider public transport??
Marine Parade Central has public parking, but it can get crowded! Public transport might be your best bet. Several buses stop right near the hawker center, making it super convenient. Plus, you get to skip the parking hunt!

Question:
Answer:
Hey, I'm planning a visit to Hassbawa! What are the peak hours I should try to avoid if I want a more relaxed experience??
Hassbawa tends to get quite busy during lunchtime (12 PM - 2 PM) and dinner hours (6 PM - 8 PM), especially on weekends. If you're looking for a quieter time, try visiting during off-peak hours like mid-afternoon!

Searched for best mee goreng in Marine parade and this came up. One of the more hardworking stalls that open till 830pm in the market. By evening most of the stalls here are closed. I like this version ofee goreng, not too oily and have bits of mutton. Portion seems huge but you can easily down this. Recommended. Value for money.

Ordered the mutton soup which was full of flavour. Big serving. I don't usually eat lamb/mutton because of the smell but the spices balanced it out well. Will visit again!

Mee Goreng (SGD $6) @ Hass Bawa. . Established since 1978 by Abdul Latiff Mohammed Kassim, this legendary stall serves what many consider to be the best rendition of its kind. . Slightly greasy, full on smoky aroma, this features yellow noodles tossed with cabbage, bean sprouts, green chili, diced potato, mutton cubes, chicken egg, and a side of cu... see more

Hassbawa's mee goreng (8/10) was delicious. The noodles wasn’t overly greasy, with a savory, peppery profile and subtle hints of wok hei. The portion was large and generous with chunky, flavorful bits of mutton. The mee goreng was fried on the spot right after we ordered, ensuring it was fresh and full of flavor. The noodles held up even after tak... see more

Really meh? Everything you read here is true—70% of it. I tried the kway teow-mee goreng and the mixed kambing soup. 7/10.

His beehoon goreng slaps—and at just $5, it’s a steal. You get a good mix of mutton, veggies, and green chilli, and if you ask for it extra spicy, he throws in some chilli padi cuts! 🤌🏼🤌🏼 Flavour-wise, it’s got more aroma and depth than most similar joints, probably thanks to the fresh tomato he uses and there’s good wok hei going on too, with... see more

The Mee Goreng/ Pattaya Mee Goreng here is pretty good. It’s better than majority of the other places I had tried before. Have been a repeated patron for almost once a week in recent few months, food is always very good, very hygienic and met with very friendly service. Most locals who stayed nearby would definitely agree with me.

The kway teow goreng was quite a big portion and for $5, it definitely is worth every dollar. Dish looked wholesome and the redness was salivating. The portion of mutton was more than what I expected. Quite a bit of ingredients as well instead of just noodles and morsels of vegetables.
