Came for Haw Ror Villa 4. Used cultural pass so it’s free. Loved: zone 2: An Interactive Ghostly Guided Tour. Got plot twist one! Rmb—the tour gets filled up fast so must quickly queue for reservation. They have it at 8.45, 9.45, and 11pm. Zone 1: big haunted house. I also enjoyed experiencing what it’s like to lie in a coffin. Unique park filled with colorful statues and dioramas, especially the Ten Courts of Hell which is quite unusual. It doesn’t take too long to walk through, and it’s definitely different from the usual tourist spots.

The museum isn’t cheap but the information within is so intelligent and tastefully laid out. The free portion is delightful with folklore, endless turtle feeding and inexplicable figures. Spent hours and could have spent more. Loved it.

It’s very, very beautiful and really original, I had never seen anything like it before. Even though some parts are a bit worn, it doesn’t take away from the experience at all: it’... see more

Bring plenty of water, a hat and sunblock/glasses you'll be fine. They've got some Halloween thing going on but this place looks pretty okay for something this old. Staff were very friendly too. You can learn about concepts of hell and Chinese history/morals. Highly recommend if you want something cultural and bring your kids along for a bit of edu... see more
