Wandered into Fortune Center in search of a late dinner around 9.30pm and discovered many izakayas were open but not all were kid-friendly. Fortunately this one was. The kids had a noodle dish and a rice bowl with chicken karaage & tsukune. We also shared 2 plates of cream croquettes (2 per plate). There were plenty of drink options including calpi... see more

Enjoyed all the dishes especially the Salmon Don, however the portion was very small for the price point. Also the waiting time is long and the food (especially skewers) sells out really quick so I would recommend checking with the staff beforehand. Overall, still enjoyed the meal!

This was my first time trying Izakaya Hikari. All the Japanese food I ordered was very nice. I especially loved the tako wasabi and kani miso. I was not disappointed at all. One note: to use the toilet, you need to get a card from the store. Thank you for the good service and delicious food!

We decided to try Izakaya Hikari after seeing its high ratings on Google Maps. It was very crowded when we arrived, which built up our expectations. Probably better serv... see more

What a hidden gem! Discovered this place randomly looking for dinner. Got there at 6pm and was able to get a table walking in. Got really busy from 7pm onwards. Prices look reasonable and fair for the food quality. Fresh and tasty. Great place to have a casual catch up over drinks too. The yakitori set was reasonably priced at about $20 for 7 ske... see more

Great service, good food. Oden available at 6:30 pm and sold out by 7! Reservation recommended. Loved the Tako wasabi, biggest portion we had so far, in SG or Japan!

Not sure what's the hype about this place as it's quite crowded but the food is pretty average. The bara chirashi is a pretty small bowl for $23 with less salmon than the rice. The grilled octopus doesn't taste super fresh. The other BBQ items are good but slightly overpriced at $3.9 onwards per stick. You can get better Jap food elsewhere!

Honest Japanese food, not really super special, but tasted and some unique dishes available. The gizzards were a cold dish and the best find of the night. Oden was pretty normal. Squid portion was shockingly small. Grilled fish was buttery and well seasoned. Gyoza was good. Service was great but atmosphere not so much as it depends where you get s... see more
