Question:
Answer:
I'm thinking of bringing a group. Does Princess Terrace handle large reservations??
Absolutely! They're quite accommodating for groups. It's a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation, especially if you're planning to visit during peak hours or on weekends, so everyone can dig into those yummy Peranakan dishes together!

Question:
Answer:
Does Princess Terrace have parking, or is public transport better??
Copthorne King's Hotel has parking, but it can get busy! Public transport is pretty convenient too, with the nearest MRT station being Tiong Bahru (East-West Line). A short bus ride or a pleasant walk will get you there!

Would say its quite pricey for the food. $81 after gst per pax is rather expensive if there’s no promo. There are hits and misses. Satay sauce was a little on the sweet side, vegetarian mutton rendang didn’t really have rendang taste. Curry chicken was good, chicken very tender and curry sauce is good but there is more oil than curry sauce in the p... see more

The lunch buffet spread was sufficient in varieties. Enjoyed the authentic Penang classics like char kway teow, carrot cake, assam laksa, duck mee sua, hokk mee. Dessert wise~ bean curd and kueh kueh were really good! Good value with 1for1 promo!

The food was delicious. However, the choices of food are not really much. There are some options that are not seen at other establishments, such as the dessert section (durian pancake) The service from the cooks, waitresses, and the receptionist are friendly and helpful throughout my visit. As for the atmosphere, it is decorated beautifully.

Quite a good place for nonya food. Char kway teow, assam laksa, chicken curry, satay etc are so good... also like the trotter vinegar. 🤤🤤 and the kueh kuehs - they made them in mini size, so that we get to try everything. The durian min jiang kueh (pancake) is good too.

For pricing it’s not really worth it unless its for the promo 1-1 or eat 4 pay 2. A very nice cozy place below the hotel. Service is definitely 5 stars be it the manager, servers or counter staff. Very friendly, big smile and attentive. Food choices wise not too bad from yong tau hu to pipa duck, chicken satay, fried kway teow and etc. Fried porr... see more

Lots of my favorite Penang food here. The ban chang kuih is made to order, Assam laksa and Hokkien mee are really flavourful. Pig stomach soup is also thee must try here. The Nyonya kuih, pulut hitam also nice. They also have Nasi kunyit if u are missing this. Good value if you are a buffet lover!

The highly anticipated Penang char kway teow was disappointing, it was too moist and soggy, and lacked the authentic flavor, especially without the use of fresh lard. The prawn paste fried chicken, while flavorful, wasn’t crispy at all, which was underwhelming. The curry chicken tasted good overall, but the sweetness was a bit too much. The fried p... see more

Had the Penang buffet a long time back. The usual Hokkien prawn noodle, assam laksa, char moay, pig stomach soup, satay were still good. Dessert section quite miserable, not much varieties. A little pricey now, when there’s no seafood or red meat to the spread. Service tho was good. Vasantham was very informative and patient to explain the millenni... see more
