We had the oven baked chicken (a chef’s special) and the bratwurst. The oven baked chicken was wonderfully seasoned and the breast meat was tender on the fork. The bratwurst is also sourced from Austria! The mash was delicious and the service was very warm and homely. I would come back!

The food there was tasty and well seasoned. The food took quite some time to arrive and so did the drinks. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The fruit drinks were very fresh. The desserts were very tasty, especially the apricot tray which was warm and freshly made. Schnitzel house is an excellent place to go to eat and have fun with friends... see more

I’ve always had a soft spot for family-run restaurants, and this one—helmed by Austrian Master Chef Wolfgang Ranner—is truly special. They offer a wide selection of both traditional and innovative dishes, all reasonably priced for the quality you get. The casual, cozy setting is made even more inviting by the chef’s lovely wife, who warmly welcome... see more

4 pints of happy hour Paulaner Lagers, with the seasonal Pork Knuckle (its Oktoberfest) - seriously crispy skin, flavourful meat that could be bit more moist. Portion is actually good for 3 pax but there were 2 of us. Friendly & fabulous service. Sat outdoor & fortunate to have good weather. Overall, its was a good meal.

TL;DR: Fantastic food and service, albeit expensive. Food is more appealing to the tastebud than to the eye. (Note: I have an Asian bias for flavour preferences.) I'm not generally a fan of German food because the food is generally "table salt" flavour. Add the hard, dry, greasy schnitzels, pork knuckles and bratwurts - not to mention vinegary sau... see more

Food and drinks were superb, hospitality and service were top notch. Pork knuckle and Spätzle were fantastic and highly recommended. Advise to reserve a table so that the Chef can prepare the seasonal dishes in advance. Many thanks!

A precious gem with food and hospitality that truly stand out! The chef’s wife was incredibly patient and attentive, taking the time to understand our preferences before making spot-on recommendations. The result? One of the most satisfying and delicious dinners we’ve ever had. The meat was tender and juicy, and the pork ribs and schnitzel were han... see more
