One of the best Indian cuisine I've had. And situated in a uniquely decorated restaurant that's located in an extremely uniquely themed hotel. SHIKAR stands for "The Hunt" offering great spread of both vegetarian and meat dishes!

If I could give a 10 star rating I will! The portion of the food is perfect! Love the ambient and is just located in the centre of Maxwell! David, Roy and Sue served us during our meal! Really great North Indian food, with a spectacular ambience at Maxwell Reserve. Unfortunately also pricey, but worth an occasional treat. I especially enjoy their "lamb in a coconut" (coconut shell baked lamb shoulder sukka), and lamb biryani! Other dishes are terrific too.

The servers were attentive and kindly introduced the star dishes, we loved how flavourful the broccoli was and butter chicken goes nicely with the naan! The interior design of the restaurant was stunning too
