Too hot to sit outside to chill, in the weather nowadays. We were just perspiring non stop. The food is good generally. The ribeye beef was nice that we ordered another portion, only to find that the taste differed a little for the second order. Price is a little on the high side for 5 pax.

Need to add more air coolers for outdoor seatings. It gets very hot and humid in weather like these. Even standing fans may help, the current ceiling fans are insufficient Despite being short handed, the crew still try their best to keep the customers happy. Food is still as good as before

This izakaya is fairly average considering its price point. Given the competitive landscape in the area, it could benefit from being more distinctive. Ordering was a bit cumbersome due to the digital menu and lack of images, which made it challenging to balance business conversations with our meal selection. Fortunately, the food turned out to be ... see more

I have been coming to Shunjuu Izakaya for many years and have not had a bad meal here, ever. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. They can get busy at dinner time, but they still manage to take orders and serve food in a reasonable time. They are very kind to remind me when my bottle is expiring as well :)... see more

We were seated and provided (without asking if we wanted it, did not eat it, then subsequently charged) whole cabbage and kewpie covered pasta. Note- this practice appeared to only have occurred selectively. Everything was okay. Could have used longer grill time for a good char, especially the scallops and pork belly. Appreciate the time spent on... see more

We went lunch hence crowd was not much. Staffs are very friendly. Chicken skin was not available that day. First time having cockscomb, taste is acceptable and not weird actually. Chicken neck is a must have i feel.

Shunjuu Izakaya. This izakaya is located in robertson quay. It may not look as a new place but surely it still retains some of its glory. The food quality was excellent. - Tebasake: this was best dish that we ordered. The chicken winglet and drumette were tender and perfectly charred with balanced saltiness. 4.9 star - Salmon sashimi: surprisingly ... see more
