Chanced upon this lovely izakaya place. Prices are so reasonable and the food is great. They were having a salmon sashimi promo, 6 pieces of thick, buttery salmon for just $8. Lovely. My unagi don was just $15, with thick pieces of unagi and tamagoyaki, it was so worth it, and tasted so much better than some of the chain restaurants. Definitely go... see more

Best sashimi and variety of maki I’ve tasted. Tono Izakaya definitely offers an exceptional dining experience with its authentic flavors, welcoming ambiance, and attentive service. It's the perfect spot for a casual night out with friends or a relaxed dinner after work. Highly recommended!

Packed on a Friday night but definitely worth a trip! Tried the avocado & salmon skin salad, Avocado n Kampyo Maki, and Australian Wagyu Beef Don; and I’m glad to say all were worth the price! Also got to try out a special light-up alcoholic drink for an upcoming event!

It's a great find through a friend. The salmon sashimi is fresh. The unagi don with its tasty eel and perfectly cooked rice, is a real highlight! It's an ideal place to unwind after work. Apparently, they are available in KL too! Thank you boss for the salted milk and black sesame ice cream.

Engawa bowl was the best! Food was served fast. Came on a Friday night and there was live singers.

The experience was great , food is nice. I love the Yakitori’s and Unagi Don was my go to food and I actually don’t eat Mala, but their Deep fried Chicken Mala was my new favourite 🥰. Service is also great , staffs are attentive. Will definitely comeback

Finding an outdoor place for drinks and music after work in the bay area? There’s a new live band every Friday here at Tono at Marina Bay Financial Centre. Come for music, good food and good service. YC and her team is amazingly friendly, helpful and attentive. Thanks YC for the great time!

We dropped by Tono Izakaya MBFC for their Thursday Acoustic by the Bay, and it was such a great experience! The food and ambience were excellent, and they have amazing drink deals — $78 for 7 glasses of house pours or beer bottles (that’s only about $11+ per glass!), and $78 for 6 pints of draft beer, which works out to just $13 per pint.
