Visited around 12:30 PM during lunch hour — it was quite crowded, and I didn’t realize you had to get a table first before ordering food. There’s a wide variety of dishes, and everything looked delicious. I tried the Dou Miao (pea shoots) and it was really tasty! The Hainanese chicken rice was also good, and the kaya bun is a must-try. I heard the... see more

It was a bit of a walk from the nearest MRT station. The queue was long. We had to find our own table which was pretty hard. It's like a war. The tuna puff was ok. I couldn't really enjoy it because it was served room temperature. And i preferred it to be at least warm. The kaya toast was thick and moist, not the thin type we usually had. The ka... see more

Today I try their chicken rice drumstick The rice is too soft. chilli sauce has no kick. Chicken texture is abit mushy ( not firm) Not sure how they chopped it , a lot of crush bones. The overall taste is standard ok 👌 The workers are very hurried to clean your plates. Is not a very good experience.

We went for brunch (10.30AM-ish) and the queue was quite long, but the tables were available so it wasn’t really a hassle (don’t forget to remember the table number the cashier asked for it). Tried the kaya toast set and chicken rice, both tasted okay but I’m on the crispy toast side so I didn’t really like this one. Also ordered ice teh c and ging... see more

I don't think they should get their eggs wrong, it was a tad overcooked.. and the butter sugar bun was very average and nothing to shout about.. especially the sugar portion.. it's a bit over .. but the saving grace is the coffee ☕. One of the better ones around.

Amazing food and really friendly staff - my new favourite place for a kaya toast breakfast! Visited late last week (weekday) about 8am. Didn't have to queue for too long at all. I ordered one kaya toast bun, eggs, kopi c and a lemon tea. The kaya bun was seriously great. The kaya jam itself was so delicious, matched well with the salty butter, an... see more

Nicely toasted buns that are crispy on the outside and extremely soft and fluffy on the inside, like a sponge cake that melts in your mouth. There is just that little bit of butter with nice nonya kaya. Eggs are also big like Yakun's. Egg tart has buttery crumbs that aren't soggy, but not that fantastic to me. Take note to mention your table numb... see more

Only tried the toast set and not other food in this coffee shop. The bread while slightly crispy on the outside, it was nothing special to be honest as the inside was a little dry. Eggs were okay. Coffee was normal too. Perhaps I expected more but I think yakun sells better toast. There’s an old uncle who is very nice here.
