Doughnut Shack (Artisanal Doughnut Shop in Whampoa/Balestier)

Drove all the way from Tampines to Whampoa just to have a taste of these trending yummy doughnuts. Honestly, it was worth it! Its so delicious!!!! Love the bombolinis, 1 is really not enough. The pistachio ganache is also to die for. Anotger new family favourite!!!!

The place was larger than expected w their donuts displayed in the centre. On one side, there were an assorted variety of bread and the other was a seating area and they served drinks too. hmm this used to be my favourite doughnut shop in sg but not sure if they are having some teething problems after moving back to whampoa... the mini bombolinis were severely lacking in filling (but not the full size doughnuts) but what was most disappointing was the dough. it was cakey, yellow and greasy, when it used to be light and fluffy. def... see more

Just moved into this neighbourhood and found this donut place. No pork, no lard, no gelatine, no alcohol. 👍 We tried the salted caramel and banana fritters donuts. They were so good. Need to go back and try other flavours.

My boyfriend absolutely loved their doughnuts, especially the fillings inside, and after trying them the other day, I can see why! Was happy to know that this shop shifted and reopened at this location near my current workplace. Made a trip down specially to get filled donuts but bought some bombolinis instead. Was disappointed that they're too soft and quite oily. Nutella flavor was acceptable but I'd pass up the blueberry flavor.

Update Apr 2025: Pistachio Doughnut now at $3.8 and has shrunk terribly small. Tried the pistachio bomboloni. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the filling was generous, creamy, and fragrant. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
