Trying to find an authentic breakfast experience, and the internet led me to Heap Seng Leong. I was confused at first since they didn’t accept any card payment, but we managed to get cash. Tried their breakfast package for $4 (kaya toast, eggs, any choice of coffee), and also the curry puff from the shop beside. I loved the kaya toast! It’s warm an... see more

Wanted a traditional Kopitiam experience and this was it. The toast was delicious and the vibe was nice. The curry puff stall outside is a great addition too.

Heap Seng Leong’s retro charm transports you to old Singapore with its vintage décor and classic marble tables—an authentic, nostalgic dining setting. Their kopi (local coffee) is robust and fragrant, perfectly paired with soft, comforting kaya (coconut paste) toast. Every visit promises a simple, timeless local breakfast experience.

A short commute over to the old school coffee shop for an iced coffee and kaya toast set. There were only a few people in the restaurant and like many, weren't sure how to order until the Uncle pointed us to the "kitchen." Ordere... see more

Ordered the set meal kaya butter toast🍞, 2 soft-boiled eggs🥚, and the kopi gu you (coffee with butter🧈). The coffee was smooth with a buttery twist, unique, though i prefer a stronger, da... see more
