What's the best way to get to Izakaya Naniwa at Cuppage Plaza??
Cuppage Plaza is super accessible! It's a short walk from Somerset MRT station. Just head towards Orchard Road, and you'll find it easily. Once you're inside, head to the 3rd floor.

The place where you drink till there’s no end to the night. With delicious Japanese tapas ala omakase. You gotta drink. Once you stop drinking, they will serve you tea and the bill too:( Very limited seats, need to book one month in advance .

Most authentic Japanese izakaya in Singapore so far. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and socialised with other customers. We will definitely return. Thank you to Mr. Okamoto and his wife for the excellent food and service!

Unveiling the mysterious veil of Izakaya Naniwa.. I actually wanted to visit since Aug 2020 but details about them online were scarce. Saw an old review from 2009 that was really negative about the place and hence I hesitated. Finally visited in Jun 2023 and found out how much I have been missing out. Whelmed by a pair of hospitable owners, this is the place u wanna experience Japanese izakaya. Plenty of choices to occupy my table. The liver sashimi is one of my favourite dishes, moriawase is another fave. Actually I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered & perfect to match with sake. Rly enjoy the vibes & food here

This is a bar that you wish only you’ve found and no one else knows, and it is with great reluctance that I write this review. The nice boss and boss lady run the small izakaya inhabited by the loyal regulars. A friend brought me here last minute. Managed to make a reservation for 2. A little izakaya with very limited seats about 10. The owners are also very kind and funny. Do abide by their min drink requirements! This place instantly brings me back to Japan. All very authentic food and everything we ordered was so good. Love the pepperish daikon soup... see more
