Had a Fantastic dinner; ordered the samsui chicken (60% off - SG60), soup of the day (pork with lotus), garlic French beans and earthen pork ribs. The meat just fell off the bone and every bite was full of favour. Soup was sweet and delicious.

Services are good and prompt but the food just doesn’t seem as good as in the past (or was I expecting too much?). The sweet potato leaves are tender but the sambal chilli doesn’t pack a punch. Great place to have a family dinner. Food was great! We bought the set meal for 4 pax upon recommendation by Mdm Catherine Loo. It was fantastic. Her service was excellent! The 60% deal was a steal!

To only talk about the chicken would be an injustice. As their name suggests, their soups are phenomenal. The Double-Boiled Waisan & Ginseng Roots with Chicken Soup is a soul-warming concoction that is nourishing and comforting, with a delicate herbal sweetness that tells you it has been simmered for hours with care.

The service was great and I got to enjoy the 25% off promotion during weekday off peak hours. Usually, I enjoy the food at the soup restaurant but today the vegetable dish and the taro fish soup was a tad too sweet. The hometown beancurd was fabulous as always.
