Butterfly Garden is located in Terminal 3. It is the world's first butterfly garden in an airport. The two-story garden, which also contains a six-meter waterfall, is dedicated to showcasing a myriad of bright tropical plants and more than 1,000 butterflies. As many as 40 species call this sanctuary home, including the Blue Clipper butterfly and Singapore's national butterfly, the Common Rose butterfly.
While visitors are free to roam and marvel at the sight of butterflies positioned all around the garden, some educational signs and enclosures allow visitors to see the butterfly's life cycle up close, from caterpillar to winged creature.
