I have to say that the Indian vegetarian menu here is one of the widest that I have come across in Singapore and its popularity is evidenced by the crowds here even on weekdays. Today my wife and I were here to sample its Thursday specials - actually it was only I who did this, when I ordered for the first time a Maddur Vada that was like a deep-fr... see more

Had a morning craving for masala dosa, so we made our way here to fix it! 🌞😋 Also ordered the poori and vada — first time for our girls, and surprisingly, they loved everything! 🫓💖 And the mango lassi? Confirm their favourite — refreshing and super shiok! 🥭🧃✨ Tasty, satisfying, and totally Jin Ho Jiak! 😋😋😋 Only one downside: the exhaust s... see more

Have always heard about MTR and planned to visit it for brunch. Medu vacation was good but quite oily but taste nice 5/5. Idli was quite average 4/5. We ordered podi dosa, that was a bit disappointing..maybe too much of oil or ghee which takes away the actual taste 2.5/5.

Very disappointing. Manager & staffs were very rude. Food was very average..Developed rashes ,& intense itching. Had to take medicines. There are plenty of other good South Indian restraunts nearby. Its wastage of money. Very bad experience. They should improve their whole thing They serve left overs. They have some kind of Delusion of Grandeur...... see more

Masala tea was good, came without sugar which you can add yourself according to your own liking. Vada was freshly fried, fluffy and pairs so well with their sambar. Service was very friendly and appro... see more

Service was amazing from the moment you enter the restaurant. Staffs were extremely polite and friendly. The food is made to order therefore you gotta wait for it but the waiting time is acceptable although it was a full house when I visited them. All the food was incredible and indeed affordable. My wife and I, visiting from Sydney, had the pleasure of dining at MTR Singapore seven times during our 5 day trip, and each item was a delightful journey back to our Bangalore days. The authentic South Indian fare—masala dosas, rava idlis, vadas, and more—brought nostalgic flavors that we miss in Sydney. Every dish we tried was freshly prepared,... see more
