In 1969, the Government decided to turn the National Museum into an art and historical museum and create a new institution devoted to scientific and technological education. Science Centre Singapore

Limbang Park can be found in Choa Chu Kang, northwest Singapore. It has the usual park amenities such as playgrounds, open spaces, and fitness corners. It includes the logo of Limbang Park, a 4m high slide, and a wooden bridge from the olden days.&nbsp;

Huddle between housing blocks at Bukit Batok Street 32 is Beauty Garden Park. It is home to various play equipment kids can have fun moving around this neighborhood park. It features no less than five sets of play equipment with an all-red-grey theme. 
There is a play set with a pair of grey dual slides. Hanging off from four arcing poles that leads from the center is a little climbing equipment where kids can put their motor skills to the test and a dome-shaped seat suspended swing.&nbsp; 
There is another play structure with slides, climbing equipment, and ramps. More adventurous kids can go to the rope climbing dome. There is also play equipment with a series of plastic strips that form a mini-slope that kids can scale and two sets of electronic NEOS play equipment.

Beauty Garden Park

Toah Dragon Playground was designed by former Housing Development Board (HDB) interior designer Khor Ean Ghee. It was constructed in 1979 as part of a series of animal-themed playgrounds. It is one of Singapore&#39;s oldest playgrounds. It was formed on an experimental dragon shaped with modifications from its predecessor to build it simply.

It stands on top of a sand pit and has multicolored steel rings in the dragon&#39;s body to let the children climb thru with a slide on its head. Similar playgrounds were demolished due to safety concerns in 1990, but Toa Payoh remained untouched and became Singapore&#39;s cultural icon. Making a difference and keeping people safe.
