The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is Singapore&#39;s first and only protected wetland reserve and is home to over 500 species of tropical flora and fauna. Avid birdwatchers first discovered Sungei Buloh from the Malayan Nature Society (Singapore Branch), which then wrote a proposal to the government for its conservation.

The development of the Park was undertaken by the Parks and Recreation Department (now the National Parks Board) with experts from the Wildfowl &amp; Wetlands Trust from the United Kingdom and the Worldwide Fund for Nature. It is located in the northwest sector of Singapore, close to the Kranji Reservoir.

The Nature Park was officially opened on 6 December 1993. In 2002, the 130-hectare Park was officially gazetted as a nature reserve and was renamed the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. The reserve was also declared an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

The Southern Ridges is a 6.2-mile recreational trail that connects five parks along the southern ridge of Singapore&mdash;Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park, and Labrador Nature Reserve. Like everything in Singapore, it&#39;s well-constructed and manicured. The landscape varies between jungle-like canopies of trees, unusual flora and fauna, and architecturally magnificent walkways.

Elevated boardwalks, bridges, and trails connect the individual parks to create a seamless green corridor full of fascinating animal and plant life and historical anecdotes. It starts from Hortpark, through the canopy along the meandering Forest Walk to Telok Blangah Hill, and on to Mount Faber via the Henderson Waves. Southern Ridges

Sentosa is an island resort off Singapore&rsquo;s southern coast, linked to the city by road, pedestrian boardwalk, cable car, and monorail. On the south coast, Palawan Beach is lined with food bars and stalls and has a suspension bridge to a small offshore island. Tanjong Beach is more serene with a palm-lines crescent shape.

MacRitchie Reservoir

Cloud Forest

OCBC Skyway

Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay is one of Singapore&#39;s most iconic and recognizable attractions. It comprises 18 Supertrees, and the 12 is the Supertree Grove. Two Supertrees are connected by this fun 128-meter aerial platform, the OCBC Skyway. In addition, it is made up of four major components, the reinforcement concrete core, the trunk, planting panels, and a canopy.

Over 162,900 varieties of bromeliads, orchids, ferns, and tropical flowering climbers have been planted on the Supertrees. It comes alive twice a night to the tune of 70s disco music.

Supertree Grove

It opened in October 2011. Gardens by the Bay was awarded various prizes, including &ldquo;World Building of the Year&rdquo; in 2012. It consists of three waterfront gardens adjoining the Marina Reservoir: Bay South Garden, East Bay Garden, and Bay Central Garden.

Bay East Garden, with an area of 32 hectares, is the second largest bay with beautiful tropical gardens.
