MacRitchie Reservoir

MacRitchie Reservoir is also known as Singapore’s oldest reservoir, completed in 1868 as part of the government’s plan to turn the island into a City In A Garden. 

It is the best hiking trail in Singapore. It is an 11 km long trail that can do trail running, walking, trekking or hiking and can be completed in three to four hours. The park is a popular weekend destination for the breathtaking views from the Treetop Walk and the miles of monkey-inhabited boardwalks.
