It opened in October 2011. Gardens by the Bay was awarded various prizes, including “World Building of the Year” in 2012. It consists of three waterfront gardens adjoining the Marina Reservoir: Bay South Garden, East Bay Garden, and Bay Central Garden.
Bay East Garden, with an area of 32 hectares, is the second largest bay with beautiful tropical gardens. The Bay Central Garden is considered the smallest garden, with an area of 15 hectares, and The central garden, with its 3-kilometer seafront, is an ideal place for scenic walks.

The Bayfront Plaza carpark is closed on December 4, 2022, from 11:15am to 12:30pm.

For more information on Amenities Services, click here. Since 29 August 2022, it is no longer necessary to wear a mask while you visit the Gardens. This is due to the relaxation of the Safe Management Measures as per the recent government guidelines. Masks are now allowed in the Gardens starting 29 August 2022.
