About Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant

Discover Singapore Zam Zam, a culinary institution since 1908, serving authentic Indian Muslim cuisine. Open daily, savor our famous Nasi biryani, Murtabak, and Roti prata. Located on North Bridge Road, enjoy our cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant, a name synonymous with exceptional Indian Muslim cuisine in Singapore, has been delighting diners since its establishment in 1908. This iconic restaurant, open seven days a week, has spent over a century perfecting its signature dishes, drawing crowds from all corners of the island and beyond. Zam Zam's unwavering commitment to quality and tradition has solidified its reputation as a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of Singapore's rich culinary heritage.

Nestled on the bustling North Bridge Road, Singapore Zam Zam occupies a distinctive two-story building that has become a familiar landmark in the area. Step inside, and you'll find a warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by simple yet comfortable seating arrangements. The restaurant's unpretentious ambiance allows the focus to remain firmly on the star of the show: the food. But it's not just the delicious dishes that keep patrons coming back; the friendly and attentive staff at Zam Zam are always on hand to provide exceptional service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest.

At Singapore Zam Zam, the menu is a testament to the diverse and flavorful world of Indian Muslim cuisine. However, two dishes stand out as undisputed crowd favorites: Nasi biryani and Murtabak. The Nasi biryani, a fragrant rice dish cooked with a medley of aromatic spices and tender pieces of meat (chicken, mutton, or fish), is a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. Each grain of rice is infused with the essence of the spices, while the meat is cooked to perfection, resulting in a dish that is both satisfying and unforgettable. The Murtabak, a pan-fried bread filled with a savory mixture of minced meat, onions, and eggs, is another culinary masterpiece that has earned Zam Zam widespread acclaim. The crispy exterior of the bread gives way to a flavorful and juicy filling, creating a textural and taste sensation that is simply irresistible.

But the culinary offerings at Singapore Zam Zam extend far beyond these two signature dishes. The menu boasts a wide array of other delectable options, including Roti prata, a crispy and flaky flatbread served with a side of flavorful curry; Mee goreng, a stir-fried noodle dish bursting with spicy and savory flavors; and a variety of curries, each prepared with a unique blend of spices and ingredients. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of Indian Muslim cuisine or a curious newcomer eager to explore new flavors, Singapore Zam Zam has something to satisfy every palate.

More than just a restaurant, Singapore Zam Zam is a living testament to Singapore's rich culinary heritage and cultural diversity. It is a place where tradition meets innovation, where flavors are celebrated, and where memories are made. So, the next time you find yourself in Singapore, be sure to pay a visit to this iconic establishment and experience the magic of Singapore Zam Zam for yourself. Your taste buds will thank you for it.

We came here to buy Singapore murtabak and red bone soup. Both are not in the picture because we packed both to take home. What we bought and ate there was goat biryani, chicken chop and mamak fried noodles. For me, the murtabak and goat biryani were very tasty. For red bone soup, it tasted average. We specifically went there to try deer dishes. Both the Deer Briyani and Deer Starter was good. Prata is very good and the side gravy is excellent. They have varieties of Drinks to try. The major negative side is they charge extra for Card Payments. We had to pay 10% extra since we paid in Card

Great local find at a reasonable price so close to the mosque. Murtabak was delicious and devoured by the kids. The biryani was flavoursome and the gravy had good spices without being too spicy. Lastly, the Nasi Goreng was also great and loaded with egg. Would definitely come back

Fast service, I received my food in under 10mins after ordering 👍. The Beef Briyani and Chicken Murtabak was great 😋, the fries however is a joke 😶, the picture shown is the fries I got before even eating them. Very cold🥶 atmosphere upstairs to help cool down from the Singapore Heat🇸🇬. It’s not a go to place but can give it a try for tourist.

We tried the vegetarian murtabak at Zam Zam and it was fantastic! It came with a flavorful lentil curry, and the portion was so generous that one was more than enough for two people. Paired with a refreshing lemon water, it made for a simple yet delicious local meal.
