About Kuya's Kusinang Pinoy

Discover authentic Filipino cuisine at Kuya's Kusinang Pinoy, a home-style eatery located in Bugis, Singapore. Founded in November 2020 by Raymond and Sandra, Kuya's Kusinang Pinoy brings the Filipino 'turo turo' tradition to Singapore, offering a comforting taste of home for OFWs and locals alike. Experience the 'point-point' style of dining, reminiscent of a Filipino cafeteria, with a diverse selection of dishes including rice, noodles, slow-cooked stews, and whole fried fish.

Indulge in Filipino classic dishes like Crispy Pata, a deep-fried pork knuckle with Portuguese roots. The pork is stewed with bay leaves, peppercorns, garlic, onion, and salt until tender, then chilled and deep-fried to achieve maximum crispiness. Served with atcharang (pickled green papaya) and a soy sauce-vinegar dipping sauce, it’s perfect as a main course or a pulutan (tapas-style snack).

Savor the flavors of Sisig, a Kapampangan dish made from pig's face, belly, and chicken liver, seasoned with calamansi, onions, and chili peppers. Kuya's Kusinang Pinoy serves their sisig on a hotplate, balancing flavors and fattiness with chunks of pork belly and a minimal amount of chicken liver.

Try the Sisig na Puso or Pilawang Puso ng Saging, a unique vegetable dish made with banana heart cooked in vinegar with pork, garlic, and spices. This dish offers a light and healthy alternative to curry rice, with the richness of pork belly fats adding balance to the vegetable.

Delight in the Adobong Pusit, a squid dish cooked using the traditional Filipino adobo method. The squid is boiled in soy sauce and vinegar, then sautéed in garlic, onions, and tomatoes, creating a symphony of flavors. The squid is cooked al dente and the squid ink sacs are incorporated into the sauce.

Warm up with Beef Bulalo, a classic beef shank stew. This clear and rich soup, especially comforting on cold days, is available in a special version with bone marrow for added richness.

Experience the culinary influences of Pata Humba, braised ham hock with salted black beans. This dish features pork knuckles braised in pineapple juice and soy sauce until tender, with fermented black beans (tausi) and dried banana blossoms added during cooking. The dish tastes like adobo with a Chinese influence, offering a familiar taste of home with a Filipino twist of vinegar and sweetness.

Located at 420 North Bridge Road, 01-06 North Bridge Centre, Singapore 188727, Kuya's Kusinang Pinoy offers an inexpensive and authentic dining experience. We ordered sisig, kare-kare, and garlic rice for dinner. The sisig (pork dish usually made from pig's face and was served in a sizzling plate) tasted delicious and reminded me so much of home, it was the right crispy and meaty. The kare-kare (peanut stew of sort with vegetables and meat) was also a very pleasant surprise. It appeared very unassum... see more

It was nice to have a taste of home. Only negatives were that the food was a little bit too oily and potatoes were undercooked in the bulalo and beef stew, lechon kawali was a bit stale (maybe from sitting for a while). I loved the chicharon bulaklak and will be back for this

Ordered the Barkada Bundle. The crispy pata (pork leg) was delicious and huge! Really crispy indeed and flavourful when dipped with the sauces. The pork sisig was served sizzling and was well seasoned; perfect with rice. Highly impressed with this place and would definitely return again :)

Friendly staff and cute little filippino home cooked restaurant that's authentic ! You know the place is authentic when you see 90% of the people eating are Filippinos. We had a massive dinner there with 6 of us and tried almost every dish. Unfortunately no space for dessert, if not would have tried turon and halo halo. The stand outs are their ... see more

the menu states that their signature is their sisig and RIGHTFULLY SO. in my opinion, theres not a single other filipino restaurant here that does sisig as good as theirs. i ALWAYS come back here whenever i have the feels for a good plate of sisig. and sometimes i end up bringing new people here. i genuinely think this place needs their business ex... see more

We have the Sisig, and kare kare and jackfruit in coconut milk as sides. The sisig was well balanced, a good mix of saltiness and spiciness, and a desirable crunch factor too. All the foods went insanely well with rice!
